Silicon Valley Boutique Investment Bank Search: Semiconductor IP Asset Sale Project Advisor Requirement
A consulting advisor (also serving as CFO/COO) serving high-tech startups states that their client intends to sell an asset involving semiconductor IP and hopes to engage a boutique investment bank with semiconductor industry connections in Silicon Valley (San Francisco Bay Area) (such as BRCM, QCOM, MRVL, INTC, etc.) and experience in completing related IP transactions. The advisor is familiar with bulge-bracket banks but has limited knowledge of smaller specialized firms, and therefore publicly solicits recommendations and contacts.
Having long worked with bulge-bracket banks, I am not familiar with smaller specialized institutions. Currently, I am providing consulting services to several high-tech startups, and one of my clients wishes to engage a boutique investment bank to assist in marketing and managing an asset sale. The asset involves Silicon IP, so priority is given to institutions that maintain connections with the semiconductor industry (such as BRCM, QCOM, MRVL, INTC, etc.) and have completed transactions involving semiconductor IP.
If you know of boutique investment banks that meet the above criteria, please send me the institution names and any contact information you have. Thank you for your help.
